Help me color the world

Since I started designing, creating, and dreaming about jewelry, I’ve always struggled with how and where to showcase my pieces to the world. The jewelry I make reflects so much of who I am. Of course, the custom pieces I create for request are an exception—they are entirely shaped by your visions. But the designs I create on my own are the first to bear my colors, my dreams, and my essence.

When I share them, I’m not just showing jewelry; I’m sharing a part of my dreams and aspirations with you.

Finding My Audience: A Journey Through Blogs, Social Media, and Fairs

For someone like me, who’s an introvert (yes, I am!), it’s not easy to open up and invite new people into the land of my dreams. Yet, I deeply feel the desire to connect with those who appreciate my jewelry—the ones who see the colors and stories in my work, who would proudly wear my creations or know someone who would love them.

But as I said, this part—reaching the right people—has always been a challenge for me. Where and how do I find them? Over the years, I’ve tried many ways to reach those who resonate with my style, vision, and craftsmanship. I’ve been blogging since 2007 (yes, this blog is still alive! You can find it HERE). In 2011, I opened my first online store, which I ran until 2022. Then, in 2021, I launched a new website—the ONE you’re visiting now.

I’ve also made my presence felt across several social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, X (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn, and more.

Additionally, I’ve participated in countless craft fairs over the years, even though, as an introvert, these events have always been a significant challenge for me. Yet, they’ve also been incredibly rewarding. Seeing someone in person who chooses one of my pieces is a huge confidence boost. I have unforgettable memories from fairs—moments that bring a smile to my face even now.

Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone in a New Country

As many of you know, just over two years ago, my family and I moved to a new country. While I’m learning the language here, I’m far from fluent enough to comfortably chat with people at craft fairs. Still, my heart misses the direct feedback and the joy of meeting new people who connect with my work.

That’s why I’ve taken steps to present my work in local fairs here, even though, for now, English is the only common language I share with most visitors. It’s not the native language for either of us, so the deep, nuanced conversations I once cherished about my jewelry often don’t happen. Even so, this experience has been a huge leap out of my comfort zone, and I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who isn’t deterred by my limited Dutch, who takes the time to stop by, admire my creations, and sometimes even take one home.

I’m actively seeking more opportunities to showcase my jewelry in person, particularly in the Nord Holland region of the Netherlands. If you know of any fairs, exhibitions, or other venues in this area where I could participate, please let me know—I’d love to discuss it! For exhibitions where my physical presence isn’t required, I’m open to sending my jewelry anywhere in the world. Let’s connect and explore the possibilities together!

In the meantime, feel free to visit my online shop or get in touch to arrange a personal meeting to view my work.

Thank you for being part of this journey with me—it means the world!
